- Two boats burn and sink at Petzin Lake
Two boats burned and sank on Petzinsee in the municipality of Schwielowsee (Potsdam-Mittelmark district). The heat of the fire damaged three more boats and the dock on Saturday morning, as reported by the West Police Directorate on Sunday. Initially, a sports boat caught fire at the dock, which then spread to another boat.
To prevent the lake from being polluted, firefighters laid an oil barrier. Police took a report for arson and are investigating the cause of the fire.
