Twelve individuals sustained injuries during a turbulent period on board a Qatar Airways aircraft.
A flight that landed in Dublin around 1 pm local time received assistance from emergency services, including airport police and the fire department. There were six injured passengers and six affected crew members due to the incident involving Qatar Airways flight QR107, which experienced turbulence over Turkey, according to Dublin Airport. The statement also mentioned that assistance was provided to passengers and staff, while operations continued normally.
This event occurred not long after another incident in which 104 passengers were injured and one person with a heart condition lost his life on a Singapore Airlines plane. The plane, Flight SQ321 from London to Singapore, experienced severe turbulence around 37,000 feet. The plane initially went down, then went up several hundred feet before repeatedly dipping and rising for about a minute.
