Travis Scott (33) has been released from custody in Paris following his arrest. The rapper was taken into custody early on August 9th at the five-star Hotel George V in Paris, as reported by several outlets including the Parisian newspaper "Le Parisien".
Released Without Charges
According to U.S. magazine "People", Scott has been released without charges and there are no plans to charge him in the future. There were no injuries reported on either side, including Scott's bodyguard who was also allegedly involved.
Reports suggest that Travis Scott assaulted a security guard who was attempting to intervene in an argument between Scott and his own bodyguard. Police were called to the hotel around 5 am and Scott was subsequently arrested.
Scott was in Paris for the Olympic Games and attended the men's basketball semi-final between Serbia and the U.S. on Thursday evening (August 8th).
After his arrest at the Hotel George V in Paris, as reported by Le Parisien, Travis Scott was later released without charges. Despite the initial incident involving an argument with his bodyguard and an alleged assault on a security guard, there are no plans to charge him in the future.
