The Ukrainian Legislature Prohibits Moscow's Orthodox Religious Body

The Ukrainian legislature has endorsed a move to ban the Orthodox faith linked to Russia. The contentious legislation apparently garnered substantial support. Numerous religious groups within the fractured Ukrainian church context continue to align with the Moscow Patriarchate of the Russian Orthodox Church.

The Ukrainian legislature is currently preparing to enact the draft law banning the Orthodox faith linked to Russia. This controversial move could further strain relations between Ukraine and Russia.
