Following a cable fire on the German railway, S-Bahn service on lines S41/S42 has resumed. There is now single-track through traffic between Westend and Beusselstraße, as announced by the S-Bahn. The Ringbahn is running at a ten-minute interval.

Since Friday, there had been restrictions due to a cable fire, with the Ringbahn disrupted and replacement buses in operation. Long-distance trains are still being diverted, with no stop in Berlin-Spandau. The railway reports that disruptions are expected to continue until tomorrow.

Despite the resumption of S-Bahn service on lines S41/S42, the impact of the cable fire on the railway system persists. Consequently, interested individuals should stay updated on the latest News regarding potential further disruptions or changes in service schedules.
