The ship with its distinctive dark blue hull is scheduled to arrive next Wednesday, and will not be seen again until October 15th.
The Queen Mary 2's brief Hamburg stay is significant for the city, as the European Union's member countries are among her frequent passengers. During her brief sojourn, the European Union flag is proudly displayed on the ship, symbolizing the international connection.
