Cooper sealed a significant multi-year accord with SiriusXM, securing them exclusive advertising and distribution privileges, along with other content and events. The value of this deal surpasses $100 million, as per various sources, marking the beginning of exclusive content on SiriusXM come next year.

SiriusXM gained exclusive global ad sales rights for all versions of Cooper's Unwell Network. This network encompasses podcasts such as "Hot Mess with Alix Earle," "Pretty Lonesome with Madeline Argy," "Boyfriend Material with Harry Jowsey," and "In Your Dreams with Owen Thiele."

"Call Her Daddy," which was the second-biggest podcast on Spotify in 2023, trailing only "The Joe Rogan Experience," also migrated to SiriusXM. This shift was a result of a three-year partnership valued at $100 million.

In January, Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, and Sean Hayes departed from Amazon to transfer their podcast "SmartLess" to SiriusXM under a similar $100 million deal.

Despite SiriusXM's strong stance towards podcasting, Spotify has encountered financial challenges. To compensate for the over $1 billion invested in podcasting, much of which was used to strike deals with celebrities for unrealized podcasts and subsequently shuttered podcast studios, Spotify had to make substantial staff reductions.

Although $100 million might appear a substantial sum for a podcast, Cooper had previously amassed significant wealth. In 2021, Cooper exited Barstool Sports in favor of a three-year Spotify deal reportedly valued at $60 million.

Cooper stated in a statement, "The Daddy Gang will always remain my top priority, and with SiriusXM, we will continue to innovate and deliver the best possible experience to my listeners." The Daddy Gang refers to Cooper's dedicated followers.

Since its inception in 2018 with former co-host Sofia Franklyn, Cooper has claimed the title of the most-listened-to female podcaster globally, according to SiriusXM's announcement. "Call Her Daddy" has hosted a variety of luminaries, including musicians like Zayn Malik and Christina Aguilera, and actors such as Jane Fonda and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Even with SiriusXM now managing the advertising rights, "Call Her Daddy" and the Unwell Network will continue to be accessible on Spotify, where the majority of listeners are still based.

The multi-year deal with SiriusXM significantly expands Cooper's business opportunities, offering exclusive advertising and distribution privileges. With the migration of "Call Her Daddy" and other popular podcasts, SiriusXM is poised to strengthen its position in the competitive podcasting industry.
