The Cure's Keysmith, Roger O'Donnell, has been tackling cancer for around a year now. Last September, he was hit with a "extremely uncommon and intense" type of tumor in his lymphatic system, the 68-year-old announced on Twitter. The lymphatic system consists of lymph nodes, tonsils, and the spleen.

After this "crushing" diagnosis, O'Donnell embarked on an 11-month treatment plan, which included medication and radiation therapy. "I'm doing great, and the forecast is outstanding," he declared.
Additionally, the British artist revealed that he disregarded his symptoms for a few months before finally seeking medical help. He urged his admirers to undergo tests "even if you think there's a slight chance of symptoms present."
