The Techno Extravaganza "Dance the Globe", initiated by Dr. Motte, commenced in Berlin. A myriad of individuals filled Straße des 17. Juni. Multitudes were yet to join the festive procession stretching from the Brandenburg Gate to the Victory Column in Tiergarten's lush greenery.

Dr. Motte, originally known as Matthias Roeingh, took the stage at the outset. He proclaimed, echoing this year's theme "Love subdues hate and brutality." Berlin's State Minister of Culture, Claudia Roth (Greens), contributed an audio message. She recognized techno as transcending mere sound and serving as a crucial component of Berlin's profound cultural landscape. "Rave transcends all boundaries of origin, gender, and social status."

According to the organizers, the parade boasts around 30 grand floats and approximates 300 artist participants. Estimates suggest an attendance of 300,000 enthusiasts. Around 1,000 law enforcement officers ensure the event's safety. The parade caused some transportation disruptions. As the police communicated, Brandenburg Gate's S and U-Bahn station were temporarily shut down due to overwhelming crowds.

This celebration epitomizes peace, passion, and safeguarding the electronic music culture scene. Additionally, it advocates for preserving clubs and venues and promotes "disarmament in all aspects."

The love parade, a significant part of this celebration, is one of the 30 grand floats participating in the Techno Extravaganza. Referencing the event's theme, many participants expressed their love for techno music, making the love parade a symbol of love subduing hate.
