The first jungle camp rumors are circulating

What is perhaps even more exciting than the anticipation of the jungle camp? The speculation about who will be in the next edition of the classic RTL show. With this in mind, the rumor mill has started - the first names of potential candidates are doing the rounds.

There is one thing you can definitely count on: "Ich bin ein Star - Holt mich hier raus!" will be back on RTL and RTL+ at the beginning of next year. Not quite as reliable is the speculation as to who will find their way into the jungle camp this time. Nevertheless, the first rumors are already flying.

The Cologne-based newspaper "Express", for example, claims to have found out the first names being traded for the RTL classic from allegedly well-informed circles. Influencer Twenty4Tim is reportedly at the top of the list of potential participants. The 23-year-old is reportedly hoping to succeed reigning jungle queen Djamila Rowe. According to "Express", his participation has already been confirmed.

The management of Tim Kampmann, Twenty4Tim's real name, would not comment on the matter. RTL also stated that, as always, it would not take part in "speculation about candidates".

Russ? Temme? Rachek?

Another potential jungle camp participant is said to be reality TV actress Emmy Russ. According to her own statement, the 24-year-old would "fancy" a trip to the Australian bush, but is unable to comment on the speculation surrounding her participation in the "Express" for the time being. However, Russ, who has also taken part in "Promi Big Brother", "Temptation Island VIP" and "Battle of the Reality Stars", is said to be high on the wish list of the show's producers. But nothing has been signed yet.

A former "Bachelor" contestant and a "Bachelorette" contestant are also reportedly high on the list. Franziska Temme fought for the heart of rose-hunter Dominik Stuckmann in 2022 and can currently still be seen in Thailand on "Bachelor in Paradise". Meanwhile, former Bachelorette contestant Rafi Rachek has since left the reality world and trained as a paramedic. According to "Express", however, the 33-year-old could now be drawn back into the limelight.

While all of this is pure speculation, at least two faces are already certain for the 17th season of the show: Sonja Zietlow and Jan Köppen will once again host "Ich bin ein Star - Holt mich hier raus!" together in 2024.

This year's edition of "Ich bin ein Star - Holt mich hier raus!" on RTL and RTL+ is generating excitement, with speculation about potential candidates such as Influencer Twenty4Tim and reality TV actress Emmy Russ. Twentiethyfourtim, who is reportedly hoping to follow in the footsteps of reigning jungle queen Djamila Rowe, has been named as a strong contender by Cologne-based newspaper "Express". However, his management remains tight-lipped about the matter, while RTL maintains its tradition of not engaging in candidate speculation. Another name often mentioned in the rumor mill is Emmy Russ, who expresses interest in the jungle camp experience but has not yet confirmed her participation.
