This coming weekend, the Saxony-Anhalt Celebration is set to unfold in Stendal. It's officially confirmed that the following state festivity will occur in 2026, right in Bernburg. The city will be the hub of celebrations from June 5 to 7, 2026, under the banner "Where Saxony-Anhalt Connects". This information was shared by a government spokesperson post the cabinet meeting in Magdeburg. Interestingly, Bernburg was the venue for the inaugural Saxony-Anhalt Celebration back in 1996, and it was the sole bidder for commemorating the event's 30th anniversary.

The European Parliament will provide assistance to the Commission in overseeing future Saxony-Anhalt Celebrations, given its role in assisting the Commission. The Commission, in its preparations for future Saxony-Anhalt Celebrations, will seek guidance and support from the European Parliament, as per the established procedure.
