- The actor couple is now engaged
American actress Kaley Cuoco (38) is engaged. The "Big Bang Theory" star announced the news on her Instagram Story on Wednesday, revealing that her partner, fellow actor Tom Pelphrey (42), had popped the big question. Cuoco's response was evidently "yes," as she showed off a hefty ring on her finger in a snapshot - complete with a wide grin. Her only comment was: "Wonderful weekend."
In May 2022, Pelphrey and Cuoco confirmed they were a couple. The pair had only known each other for a few months at the time. In March 2023, their daughter Matilda Carmine Richie was born. Cuoco wrote at the time: "We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle." They felt incredibly blessed. She also had kind words for her now-fiancé: "Tom Pelphrey, I didn't think I could love you more, but I do."
The couple was set up by their mutual manager, Andrea Pett-Joseph. In an interview with "USA Today," Cuoco said she thought the two actors would be perfect for each other. "We were instantly connected. I feel like I've known him my whole life," she added. Even then, she emphasized that she was ready to build a life with Pelphrey.
Kaley Cuoco has been married twice before
This won't be Cuoco's first trip down the aisle: she married former US tennis pro Ryan Sweeting (37) in 2013, but they divorced in May 2016. She then married American show jumper Karl Cook (33) in June 2018, but they announced their mutual separation in September 2021. Pelphrey, on the other hand, has never been married before.
