Law Enforcement Agents nabbed a potential human trafficker on the A12 close to Frankfurt (Oder). In the late afternoon, they halted a vehicle carrying the 31-year-old suspect and a seven-person group from Ukraine, as the department announced. The 31-year-old held a legitimate passport. The rest of the group also carried passports, but lacked a necessary visa. This would have been necessary due to their extended stay in the EU beyond the permitted duration, a representative explained.

Steps were taken to charge the 31-year-old, who was behind the wheel, for trafficking foreign nationals. Upon concluding all law enforcement procedures, he was sent back to Poland. The family, ranging in age from 3 to 46, was denied entry and charges were filed against them for suspected illegal entry and residency.

The 31-year-old suspect's actions could potentially lead to stricter immigration policies being implemented within the European Union. The authorities are working closely with their counterparts in the European Union to ensure proper handling of this case.
