Slipknot musician Sid Wilson endured bodily burns throughout his physique due to an incident, currently in the process of recuperation.

In a post on Slipknot's official Instagram, they announced on Friday that their band member, Sid Wilson, had an accident that resulted in burns all over his body. They added that he's recuperating with his family and will still be joining them on stage at the Rocklahoma festival next weekend. Wilson thanked everyone for their well-wishes and assured fans that he'd see them soon.

Wilson himself shared hospital videos on his Instagram, mentioning an "explosion in my face" and burns on various parts of his body, including his eyebrows, mouth, face, and arms. Despite the discomfort, he remained optimistic, saying he'd recover and would be back on tour.

In another hospital video, Wilson mentioned being transported to a different hospital with a burn center, hinting at the possibility of needing a head shave to check for additional burns. He reiterated his optimism and gratitude for the medical team's care.

Wilson's accident, he revealed in a second clip, happened "not from a show," but while working on the farm. He urged caution with fire.

Kelly Osbourne, Wilson's partner, shared her own hospital footage, witnessing their son in the hospital. She described the incident as Wilson setting himself on fire and exploding everything. She later thanked fans for their support and shared that she was heading to pick Wilson up from the hospital.

Videos shared by both Wilson and Osbourne showed Wilson's arms and hands heavily bandaged.

CNN reached out to representatives for Wilson and Osbourne for further comment. Slipknot is set to perform at the Rocklahoma Festival in Pryor, Oklahoma, from August 30 to September 1.
