- Singer reveals wedding plans in Munich
Music superstar Adele (36) played her third of ten concerts in Munich on Friday evening (9th August). On the stage of her pop-up stadium at the Munich fairgrounds, the singer seemingly confirmed her engagement to sports agent Rich Paul (42). The 16-time Grammy winner appeared to read a sign from a fan during her performance, which asked: "Will you marry me?" In response, Adele according to US magazine "Billboard" stated: "I can't marry you because I'm getting married myself."
Adele seemingly confirms engagement rumors
During this, she held up her left hand to show off a ring on her finger. The unofficial announcement of her engagement came after rumors had been circulating for a few weeks. According to British "The Sun", Adele's partner Rich Paul had proposed to the singer, to which she immediately said "yes".
Singer dreams of a daughter
Adele and Rich Paul first appeared together in public in July 2021. In September of the same year, the singer was seen with her partner on Instagram for the first time. "I've never been so in love. I'm obsessed with him," she revealed in August 2022 to "Elle", and also stated that she "definitely wants more children. I'm a homemaker and I'm a matriarch, and a stable life helps me with my music."
She already has a son, Angelo Adkins, from a previous marriage to Simon Konecki (50). They were married from 2018 to 2021, but the marriage failed in 2019. "As soon as I'm done with all my commitments and all my shows, I want to have a baby," Adele said in May of this year. She added: "I want a girl because I already have a boy."
Adele's apparent engagement ring sparked further confirmation of her engagement rumors during her concert in Munich. According to "The Sun," Adele's partner Rich Paul had reportedly proposed to her, which she accepted.
