- She has the intention of reverting to her former surname from marriage

During her appearance on RTL+ following this year's Dschungelcamp, Cora Schumacher, who is 47, shocked viewers when she was introduced as Cora Brinkmann. It appears that Schumacher, whose birth name is Cora-Caroline Brinkmann, is contemplating a return to her maiden name.

When inquired if she had officially changed her surname to Brinkmann, Cora Schumacher replied, "Not yet, but I plan to apply for the next Dschungelcamp under the name Caroline Brinkmann."

Olivia Jones (54), the show's moderator and host, commented, "It seems you're starting anew," to which Schumacher responded with a simple "Something like that." Schumacher expressed a desire to begin afresh in the future, she revealed. She also expressed a wish to participate in Dschungelcamp again, but this time she aims to be "healthy, happy, and carefree, like the old Caroline."

Cora Schumacher had joined "Ich bin ein Star - Holt mich hier raus!" on RTL in January but voluntarily left the camp on the third day due to health issues. Her wish to participate again this time "healthy" could be a reference to this.

Is Cora Schumacher Looking to Distance Herself from Her Ex-Husband?

Cora Schumacher did not provide a reason for her decision to revert to her maiden name during her appearance on "Ich bin ein Star - Die legendäre Stunde danach". However, she has been embroiled in a heated exchange with her ex-husband on social media recently.

In an interview, Schumacher claimed that she only learned about Ralf's relationship with Étienne through his public coming out. However, Ralf Schumacher shared private messages on August 16 to challenge Schumacher's assertion.

In response, Cora Schumacher released her own set of private messages on August 24, suggesting that Ralf Schumacher may not have been fully truthful about his relationship with Étienne as early as April 2023.

After revealing her plans to change her surname to Brinkmann during a post-Dschungelcamp interview, Cora Schumacher has been involved in a public dispute with her ex-husband, Ralf Schumacher, on social media.

Cora's decision to return to her maiden name adds fuel to speculations about her intentions to distance herself from her former marriage.
