Hansa Rostock remains winless in the 3. Liga. In the clash of the second division relegated teams, Hansa lost 0:1 (0:1) to SV Wehen Wiesbaden in the 2nd matchday. In the season opener last week, the team of coach Bernd Hollerbach could only draw 1:1 against VfB Stuttgart II.
Moritz Flotho put the hosts ahead 1:0 after 30 minutes. Rostock missed several chances to equalize afterwards. After going behind, Hansa's offensive players Nils Fröling (37th/39th minute) and Nico Neidhart (58th) failed to convert high-quality opportunities. In the final stages, Hansa pressed for the equalizer but was too clumsy in front of the opponent's goal.
Despite several chances, Hansa Rostock was unable to capitalize and level the score after going behind. In search of an equalizer, other attacking options could have been utilized to bypass the defensive weaknesses.
