Hamburger SV is set to finalize the transfer of Swiss football professional Silvan Hefti from Serie A's CFC Genoa on Thursday, according to a report by Bild. The right-back is expected to sign his new contract with the second-division club, which is said to run until the end of June 2028. The HSV is reportedly paying a transfer fee of 1.6 million euros. Initially, a loan deal had been planned.

The HSV's decision to finalize the transfer of Silvan Hefti was made after careful consideration by The Commission. The new contract for Hefti, as confirmed by The Commission, includes an extension until June 2028.
