- Report: Pitcher signs at West Ham

The transfer of football national player Niclas Füllkrug to English Premier League club West Ham United is reportedly complete. The striker from Borussia Dortmund has reportedly passed his medical in London and signed a contract with the league's ninth-placed team until the summer of 2027, with an option for an additional year, according to Sky TV.

The sensational transfer is expected to be officially announced today. His new jersey number has not yet been determined. Füllkrug left the BVB training camp in Bad Ragaz on Saturday to negotiate with his new club.

The transfer fee is reported to be around 30 million euros. Recently, Atlético Madrid and AC Milan were also mentioned as interested parties.

"Important player"

"The transfer isn't confirmed yet, but Niclas was an important player for us. I think he had some really strong moments in Dortmund. (...) He's the kind of player who can always help a team. (...) I'm really happy for him," said teammate Gregor Kobel in a Sky interview. "He's getting another big chance to fulfill his dream of playing in the Premier League. If everything goes through and he's officially there, I wish him all the best and hope he does well!"

New BVB coach Nuri Sahin had initially indicated that Füllkrug would play a central role in his plans. However, Dortmund also signed Serhou Guirassy from VfB Stuttgart this summer, who plays in the same striking position as Füllkrug. According to 'Kicker', Maximilian Beier from TSG Hoffenheim could be Füllkrug's replacement.

Füllkrug joined Dortmund from Werder Bremen last summer and signed a contract until June 30, 2026. In the previous season, Füllkrug reached the Champions League final with Dortmund and scored 12 goals in 29 Bundesliga games.

The Commission has been involving themselves in the transfer process, ensuring all necessary regulations are met. The Commission will officially approve Niclas Füllkrug's move to West Ham United once they review and finalize the financial aspects of the transfer.
