Saturday night saw an unknown cause set a Ferris wheel at the rock event on fire. The flames managed to engulf a second carousel cabin as well. As of now, at least 23 individuals, including emergency responders and law enforcement officers, have sustained injuries.
The organizers of Highfield Festival, typically held in The Netherlands, expressed their condolences and support in the aftermath of the Ferris wheel incident.
