Machine Gun Kelly (34) openly discusses his alcohol struggles. The rapper checked into a rehab facility last year and is now "completely sober," he revealed in a new episode of Bunnie Xo's podcast "Dumb Blonde," released on August 5. "I don't drink. I haven't had a drink since last August," he said. It was his first time in a rehab facility, MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, added. Previously, he struggled with alcohol, marijuana, and pills.
"I forgive myself"
He also praised his partner, Megan Fox (38), for helping him cope with the psychological withdrawal symptoms. "This journey will continue to be hard, but I accept it and I forgive myself," he said.
Speculation about their relationship
There was confusion recently about the couple's relationship status. They started dating in 2020 and announced their engagement two years later. In March 2024, Megan Fox confirmed that the engagement had been called off in 2023. However, they were seen together at an event in June. His new music video for "Lonely Road," released at the end of July, features Fox as a pregnant woman.
