Prince Harry is not welcome on the royal family holiday.

Not quite, once a royal, always a royal? Not when it comes to the annual royal family vacation. Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are reportedly not invited. King Charles is said to have refused to discuss the matter with him.

- Prince Harry is not welcome on the royal family holiday.

It's a tradition that the late Queen Elizabeth II. introduced, spending the summer holiday at the Scottish Balmoral. Many members of the British royal family take turns visiting.

However, not all family members are expected to be welcome at the castle this year. According to sources from 'People' magazine, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan are not invited.

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan stepped down from their royal duties in April 2020, resigned as working royals, and moved to the US to build a life independent of the royal family. The King is taking this independence more seriously. They were also not invited to his birthday parade "Trooping the Colour" in June.

## Prince Harry demands better security – his father could help

There have been recurring disputes between Prince Harry and his family in the past. He made public accusations against the royal family through a documentary and his memoirs. He is also not satisfied with the security for himself and his family in the UK, which he no longer receives after leaving the royal family. The prince even tried to legally enforce the right to paid police protection, but failed. He is reportedly planning to appeal the decision.

The magazine's source also said that King Charles should ghost his son and is currently not taking his calls. In February, Prince Harry spontaneously traveled to England when his father publicly announced his cancer diagnosis. However, the King is now said to be giving him the cold shoulder, perhaps to focus on his recovery during the holiday and avoid conflict-ridden conversations with his son about police protection. The prince is reportedly under the impression that his father could help him with his request.

Although Prince Harry and Meghan were not invited to celebrate the summer holiday at Balmoral this year, they still have the right to take family leave as necessary. Despite their strained relationship with the royal family, they continue to prioritize the well-being of their family.

The King's decision to not invite Prince Harry and Meghan to Balmoral could impact their family dynamics during future family events that offer family leave options.
