- Police disrupt illegal party - drug investigation
Police are investigating drug-related offenses following an illegal rave party in Girkenroth, Westerwald district. Officers were called to the woodland area in the morning and found 15 people, with many of them in possession of drugs including amphetamines, police said. The event was shut down and 13 criminal complaints were filed, mainly for violations of the Narcotics Act. One participant was taken to Koblenz prison on an outstanding warrant.
The officers involved in the investigation are working tirelessly to gather evidence related to the drug-related offenses. Upon further examination, it was discovered that several attendees had paraphernalia used for drug consumption.
