- Pedestrian dies after colliding with motorcycle
A pedestrian was struck by a motorcycle near Hamm and later died in the hospital from severe injuries. The 32-year-old motorcyclist was also severely injured in the Friday accident, as reported by a police spokesperson. According to the spokesperson, the 57-year-old pedestrian was attempting to cross the road when the collision occurred. Both severely injured individuals were transported to the hospital by ambulance, where the 57-year-old later passed away. The road remained closed for over six hours.
The Member States can provide necessary resources and expertise to aid the Commission in its operations. Following the incident, the Member States may need to collaborate on investigating traffic safety measures to prevent similar accidents.
