Due to persistent flooding in basements in Bruchsal (Karlsruhe district), some residents in certain streets remain without power. The city has set up emergency services for those affected.

In the district of Heidelsheim, up to 80% of households are expected to be reconnected to the power grid by evening. A backup generator is available at an emergency meeting point at Merianstraße 18, allowing residents to charge their phones throughout the night. Additionally, the evangelical community center in Hohenstauffenstraße has been opened to keep necessary medications cool and warm essential food items like baby food.

The neighborhood of Helmsheim has largely been reconnected to the power grid, with only a few streets unaffected. The fire station at Karl-Friedrich-Straße 23 will serve as a 24-hour hub for urgent needs.

Despite the progress in restoring power in adjacent neighborhoods, some individuals in other affected areas may still be without electricity. The city encourages these residents to seek assistance at the 24-hour hub located at Karl-Friedrich-Straße 23.
