- Nine people injured in gas leak at company
In an incident involving a gas leak at a company in the Bavarian district of Rosenheim, nine people suffered eye and respiratory irritation. As reported by the police, employees noticed a strong smell reminiscent of a swimming pool. Emergency services subsequently evacuated the building in Eggstätt and cordoned off the affected area.
Upon inspecting the building, firefighters discovered that construction work had damaged a gas pipe. While the leak was sealed, ozone gas had still escaped. According to the police, the nine employees were treated on-site by emergency medical services.
The incident at The Rosenheim company occurred in the Bavarian district with the same name. After the evacuation, the employees from The Rosenheim received treatment for eye and respiratory irritation on the spot.
