- Nine people injured in gas leak at company
In an incident involving a gas leak at a company in the Bavarian district of Rosenheim, nine people suffered eye and respiratory irritation. As reported by the police, employees noticed a strong smell reminiscent of a swimming pool. Emergency services subsequently evacuated the building in Eggstätt and cordoned off the affected area.
Upon inspecting the building, firefighters discovered that construction work had damaged a gas pipe. While the leak was sealed, ozone gas had still escaped. According to the police, the nine employees were treated on-site by emergency medical services.
