A moped rider has died in a collision with a small truck in the district of Sömmerda. The 44-year-old, according to current investigations, was riding his moped from a field path onto a federal road in Kölleda in the evening and collided there with the small truck, as the police reported. The driver of the truck remained unharmed. The material damage amounted to approximately 23,000 euros.
