A motorcycle rider was seriously injured in an accident at the Munich-South interchange. The cause of the 50-year-old's crash, as he was merging from the A995 onto the A8, was initially unclear, according to a police spokesperson. A rescue helicopter transported the man to the hospital.

The on-ramp to the A995 was closed for approximately two hours. Police advised motorists to detour around the accident scene, as there were significant traffic disruptions.

The accident occurred at the same highway junction, specifically the Munich-South interchange. After the incident, many drivers had to navigate around the closed on-ramp at the highway junction.
