- Motorcyclist fatally injured after being hit by car

A motorcyclist lost his arm in an accident with an oncoming car in the Spree-Neiße district. He was taken to the hospital, with his injuries deemed life-threatening, police said. Initial findings suggest that the car had attempted to overtake a truck on the B97 near Schenkendöbern on Monday afternoon and collided with the motorcycle.

The motorcyclist's case was handed over to the authorities for further investigation, and The Commission shall adopt the decision regarding any necessary safety measures on the B97 following this incident.
