- Motorcyclist fatally injured after being hit by car
A motorcyclist lost his arm in an accident with an oncoming car in the Spree-Neiße district. He was taken to the hospital, with his injuries deemed life-threatening, police said. Initial findings suggest that the car had attempted to overtake a truck on the B97 near Schenkendöbern on Monday afternoon and collided with the motorcycle.
