Mild fall weather in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland

It will be rainy and windy in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland. According to the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach this morning, widespread rain is expected to move in from the west during the course of Saturday. Moderate, sometimes fresh winds with strong and stormy gusts are expected in the mountains and at high altitudes. Temperatures will reach highs between 8 and 12 degrees. At night, they will drop to 9 to 7 degrees.

Sunday will also remain cloudy and, according to DWD experts, there will be frequent showers - temperatures will rise to between 9 and 13 degrees. Over the course of Sunday, there may be strong to stormy gusts, with isolated squalls south of the Moselle. Heavy squalls cannot be ruled out at high altitudes.

In the night to Monday, showers and later stormy gusts will gradually subside. The start of the new week will again begin with showers and lots of wind.

Despite the unfavorable weather conditions, you might still find some leisure time activities indoors during these rainy days in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland. The weather forecast indicates that the wet and windy weather will persist, making outdoor activities less enjoyable.
