Lizzo has been keeping a low profile lately, after a series of legal disputes.
Previously, she was implicated in a lawsuit filed by three former backup dancers who claimed they experienced harassment and a hostile work environment while working with her. Lizzo refuted the allegations.
"These past few days have been emotionally draining and incredibly dissatisfying," she stated amid the controversy. "My work ethic, integrity, and respectfulness have been questioned. Normally, I choose to ignore baseless accusations, but these allegations are as implausible as they sound and too extreme not to address."
The lawsuit is currently ongoing.
