Lead vocalist Seth Binzer, widely recognized as 'Shifty Shellshock' from Crazy Town, passes away at the age of 49.

Report confirmed by Kelly Springer, Binzer's publicist, to CNN stating, "My man was a fierce fighter. Brimming with talent, sunshine, empathy, affection, and elegance. The world will miss you, Seth. We're shattered. Thanks for your skills and contributions to our music industry. We were all fortunate to have you."

As per the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's online records, Binzer passed away on Monday in Los Angeles. The death cause is stated as "yet to be determined," waiting for further investigation.

The charismatic lead vocalist of the iconic track "Butterfly," Binzer, gained fame with Crazy Town.

Binzer initiated Crazy Town alongside Bret Mazur in the mid-90s, later joined by Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein.

Crazy Town gained popularity in the early 2000s with "Butterfly" single's release, staying on Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks.
