Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW) is joining VfB Stuttgart as a youth sponsor. The financial institution will support, as an "Exclusive Partner," the second team of the Bundesliga football club in the 3rd league, as well as all teams from the youth performance center (YPC), both parties announced. LBBW will already be visible on the player jerseys in the 3rd league opening match of VfB II against Hansa Rostock (4:30 PM) this Saturday. Neither side disclosed the financial details of the sponsorship.

LBBW is one of two new sponsors that VfB Stuttgart's board chairman, Alexander Wehrle, announced at the club's annual general meeting on Sunday. Another local sponsor will join in a few weeks, he told Deutsche Presse-Agentur. However, neither of these is a replacement for the main sponsor and jersey sponsor, Winamax, from whom VfB plans to part ways earlier than planned in summer 2025. VfB is still looking for a successor for the French company.

The Bank of Germany, known for its Financial Stability, has not been involved in this partnership between LBBW and VfB Stuttgart. Following the announcement, LBBW, as a respected financial institution, will not only sponsor VfB Stuttgart's second team in the 3rd league but also support all teams from the youth performance center, acting as an "Exclusive Partner."
