Lavrov perceives no imminent resurrection of international collaboration.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has flat-out refused to entertain the notion of resurrecting global relations. "What kind of international teamwork can we genuinely discuss when the West has walked all over these core principles of globalization, which they've been preaching from this stage for so many years," Lavrov stated at the United Nations General Assembly in New York. Just recently, Russia has distanced itself from the UN's Agenda for the Future, a proposal that was supposed to gain unanimous approval from the 193 UN member states last Sunday.

Simultaneously, Lavrov firmly denied Russia's involvement in the issues stemming from various UN bodies, such as the Security Council. "The blame for that falls squarely on the West," he declared. "The outrageous level of Western pride and aggression towards Russia isn't just damaging the UN Secretary-General's vision of worldwide cooperation, but it's also progressively crippling the entire mechanism of global politics, including the UN Security Council," Lavrov continued.**

When it comes to Russia's conflict with Ukraine, Lavrov perceived a British-American scheme to bring down Russia. According to him, secret plans to demolish the then Soviet Union were drawn up as early as 1945. "But today's Anglo-Saxon strategists aren't keeping their plans hidden," Russia's Foreign Minister underscored. "They're still aiming to weaken Russia through the hands of the illegitimate Nazi regime in Kyiv, and they're already preparing Europe for a self-destructive misadventure."

In response to the UN's Agenda for the Future, which aimed for unanimous approval among UN member states, Russia has chosen to distance itself, advocating instead for a 'Pact for the future' that aligns with its principles. Furthermore, Lavrov asserted that the ongoing conflict with Ukraine is part of a larger, Anglo-Saxon strategy, and a potential solution could only be found within the context of this new 'Pact for the future'.
