Katie Price is under arrest.

There is an arrest warrant out for Katie Price. When she returns from an international trip, she is met by police at London's Heathrow Airport. A significant amount of money is involved.

British former model Katie Price was arrested upon arrival in the UK at London's Heathrow Airport. The reason: The 46-year-old failed to appear for a court hearing on July 30 in an insolvency case. According to news agency PA, she was taken into custody at a police station and is expected to appear in court later today. It was reported last week that an arrest warrant had been issued for Price in London.

Before her arrest, Price had reportedly returned from Turkey, where she had traveled for a cosmetic procedure. The Daily Mail has obtained images of Price in police custody. In the pictures, she is seen with her head bandaged, likely due to the cosmetic surgery, sitting in a police vehicle. The London Metropolitan Police confirmed the arrest to the British newspaper.

The former glamour model was declared bankrupt in November 2019 and again in March of this year. In February, Price was ordered to pay 40% of her monthly income from an online adult site to her ex-husband for the next three years. In the second case, she has not paid a tax demand of nearly £700,000. Last October, Price told the BBC that she was "sick of" receiving legal threats and would rather go to prison to "put an end to it."

At the court hearing last week, lawyer Darragh Connell, representing Price's ex-husband in the insolvency proceedings, stated that Price would not serve a long prison sentence if arrested. The only aim would be to ensure her attendance at a future hearing in the insolvency case.

Upon her arrival at the court following her arrest, Katie Price's legal team argued that the entertainment she provides through her online content should be considered when determining her ability to pay fines. However, the judge dismissed this argument, stating that her financial obligations were not influenced by her entertainment career.

Despite the financial troubles and legal issues, Katie Price's reality TV show, "My Crazy Life," continues to be popular, drawing large viewership numbers, showcasing that her entertainment value remains unchanged for many of her fans.
