Justin Timberlake is getting his driver's license suspended for the time being.

In June, police stopped pop star Justin Timberlake after he exhibited erratic behavior on the road. He subsequently failed alcohol tests. The alleged DUI case is now being heard in court.

Pop star Justin Timberlake appeared virtually for a hearing regarding an alleged DUI. During the brief session, Judge Carl Irace temporarily revoked the singer's driving privileges in the state of New York. Timberlake barely spoke a word and pleaded not guilty to the charge of driving under the influence.

The former member of the boy band NSYNC is currently in Europe for his world tour, which brought him to the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin for two shows this week. A performance in Antwerp, Belgium, is scheduled for Saturday. Timberlake did not have to appear in person for the Friday hearing. He had previously appeared in court, but the reading of the charges had to be repeated due to a procedural error, according to his lawyer, Edward Burke.

Timberlake was arrested in the town of Sag Harbor in mid-June after allegedly running a stop sign, veering off the road, and exiting his vehicle with a strong odor of alcohol on his breath. His eyes were reportedly bloodshot and glassy, his attention span was limited, and his speech was slow. He also appeared unsteady on his feet and failed all standard alcohol tests, according to the police report.

Timberlake told the officer that he had only consumed one martini and was following some friends home. He was taken into custody and spent the night in a police station. A viral photo of the star was released. Timberlake's lawyer, Edward Burke, insisted that his client was not drunk that night and called for the case to be dismissed. Judge Irace warned Burke about speaking to the media, stating that his comments were inappropriate.

The Commission is currently reviewing the evidence presented in Justin Timberlake's alleged DUI case. After the hearing, The Commission will decide on the appropriate actions to take against the pop star.
