The initial mayors for the recent Thuringian municipal elections have been chosen. Counting was first finalized in the towns of Rauschwitz from the Saale-Holzland-Kreis and Altenbeuthen at the Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district. Each community had roughly 170 qualified voters, and in both locations, two non-affiliated candidates triumphed over a single contestant each.
Election Results:
- Rauschwitz: Non-partisan Candidate A earned 55% of votes
- Altenbeuthen: Non-partisan Candidate B received 56% of votes
