The primary establishment in Berlin has secured approval for communal farming of marijuana. The district of Marzahn-Zehlendorf granted permission to the Green Leaf Society, as indicated in a communique issued by the German Press Agency they obtained. The club submitted their application on July 25th, as previously mentioned by "Berliner Morgenpost".

Gordon Lemm, the district councilor for youth, family, and health, commended the move boldly, stating, "The Green Leaf Society's application certainly sets an excellent example in many ways." They have planned strategies for tackling problematic consumers and established early detection systems.

The cannabis legislation imposes stringent requirements for legal cultivation and consumption of cannabis. Nevertheless, Lemm emphasized, "The application we received showcases a strong sense of responsibility and serious structural considerations, making the grant of permission more straightforward for us."

It has been evident since August 2nd that the State Office for Health and Social Affairs (Lageso) is accountable for handling and approving such applications. However, as of now, there is no sanctioned legal regulation in place. In the interim, the responsibility lies with the districts.

The Green Leaf Society's bold move to secure approval for communal marijuana farming has received praise from Gordon Lemm, who sees it as setting a responsible example. With the application's stringent requirements met and serious structural considerations shown, obtaining permission was made easier for the district.
