SV Wiesbaden ended up in a 2:2 tie against VfB Stuttgart II in their last third-division match, thanks to two own goals, a missed penalty, and a favorable outcome. The SVWW manages to stay undefeated with one win and two draws, maintaining their pace with the league leaders.

An early own goal by Florian Carstens (18') and a goal from Thomas Kastanaras (23') put the Hessian second-division relegated team at a disadvantage. Ivan-Leon Franjic (41') and a own goal by Stuttgart's Maximilian Herwerth (59') helped the visiting team earn a point.

Franjic missed a penalty

Wiesbaden started off strong, pushing their attacks forward and creating opportunities, but they couldn't find the back of the net. Stuttgart's quick double-strike left Wiesbaden trailing, but they managed to recover and play an evenly matched game. Fortunately for Wiesbaden, they scored before halftime to tie the game.

Upon returning from the break, Wiesbaden appeared determined, pressing Stuttgart high and chasing an equalizer. They found it after winning the ball deep in Stuttgart's half. Wiesbaden maintained their pressure, but unfortunately, Franjic (74') missed a crucial penalty, hitting the post.

Oh, my God, Franjic missed the penalty! Despite the missed opportunity, SV Wiesbaden continued their relentless push, determined to salvage a point.
