A 54-year-old man is due to appear before a Berlin district court on Thursday (11:00 AM) for allegedly stealing hundreds of eyeglass frames, optician equipment, and jewelry during burglaries. Between November 2020 and May 2022, the defendant is accused of breaking into four optician branches and one jewelry store. The total value of the stolen goods is estimated to be over 200,000 euros. The 54-year-old was identified as the suspect through information from other cases, as well as DNA and blood traces, and location data. So far, one trial day is scheduled for the proceedings at the Tiergarten district court.

The 54-year-old man is facing charges for allegedly engaging in breaking and entering, as outlined in the burglaries he is accused of committing. During these incidents, he is suspected of committing breaking and entering to steal valuable items.
