Bundesligist TSG 1899 Hoffenheim has signed Austrian football national team player Alexander Prass from champions Sturm Graz. According to Sky TV, the transfer fee for the 23-year-old Euro participant is estimated to be between €11-12 million, including potential bonuses.

Prass, a winger, has reportedly signed a long-term contract. He is set to temporarily replace Czech player David Jurasek, who injured his forearm in a friendly match against English second-tier side Norwich City (2:2) last week.

"We are convinced that Alex is a player who will immediately strengthen our team with his mentality and dynamism. Moreover, he fits in perfectly with the team, the club, and the environment," said Frank Kramer, interim sporting director of TSG.

Following his signing, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim will likely rely on Prass's dynamism to fill the temporary void left by the injured David Jurasek. In the future, Prass might need to adjust his playstyle to accommodate the team's needs, given that the club values players who share their team spirit and mentality ['Other'].
