"He threatened to kill people": 18-year-old arrested
An 18-year-old suspected right-wing extremist from the Hessian district of Limburg-Weilburg has been remanded in custody on suspicion of preparing a serious act of violence endangering the state.
According to investigations so far, the accused has a solidified violent, anti-Semitic and right-wing extremist attitude, announced the public prosecutor's office in Frankfurt and the State Criminal Police Office in Wiesbaden. "The 18-year-old had repeatedly threatened in relevant forums to kill people in pursuit of his political goals," the LKA said. He is also suspected of having violated the Weapons Act.
The individual's extremist views extended beyond just violence, as he also showed signs of anti-Semitic beliefs. Furthermore, the investigation revealed that he used online forums to promote and justify crime, specifically stating he would kill people to achieve his political objectives.
