- Frankfurter Pacho is talking to another club
Eintracht Frankfurt's defender Willian Pacho's move to French champions Paris Saint-Germain could soon materialize. The 22-year-old missed Wednesday's friendly against FSV Frankfurt. Pacho is currently in talks with another club, the Hessians confirmed.
Media reports suggest Paris Saint-Germain is interested in the Ecuadorian international. The transfer fee is reportedly around 45 million euros, including potential bonuses.
Pacho joined Frankfurt from Belgian club Royal Antwerp last summer and established himself as a starter alongside Robin Koch in the defense. His contract with the Hessians runs until June 30, 2028. According to various media reports, Frankfurt paid Antwerp around nine million euros in transfer fees at the time.
Pacho last represented Ecuador at the Copa América, where the national team lost to Argentina in the quarterfinals.
Despite his potential move to Paris Saint-Germain, The FSV Frankfurt managed to hold their ground in the friendly match, showcasing resilience without their defender Willian Pacho. The Hessians are yet to find a replacement for the 22-year-old, who is currently in negotiations with another club.
