Four suspects implicated in a 2021 mass shooting at a concert venue outside Miami face murder charges.

A group of four suspects - Willie Zavon Hill (27), Allen Gregory Chambers Jr. (30), Eugene Anthony Holmes (22), and Jacarree Brian Green (30) - are facing multiple charges, including three counts of first-degree murder, twenty attempts of murder, and one count of conspiracy to commit murder. Hill also has a separate charge for evidence tampering.

The investigators allege that Hill disposed of a vehicle used in the crime by dumping it in a canal, which led to his additional charge.

During a press conference, Miami-Dade County State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle expressed her shock over the Memorial Day Weekend incident in which 23 people were gunned down outside the El Mula Banquet Hall near Hialeah, saying that the entire South Florida was taken aback.

The root cause of the violence was said to be an ongoing rivalry between the gangs "Bricks" and "Back Blues/Apes" in Miami-Dade County. The banquet hall was being rented out by a music group closely affiliated with the "Back Blues" gang when the shooting happened.

Just after midnight, a group of masked men arrived in an SUV, opened fire on the crowd outside, and fled the scene. The strewn shell casings were evidence of a shootout that ensued.

Chambers, who is one of the accused, had posted a music video on YouTube about a month after the incident, titled "Mr. Pull Up," in which he appeared to be rapping about killing the "Apes," and several other people involved in the actual shooting. Hill could also be seen in the video, the authorities added.

Rundle stated that the law enforcement would continue their investigation to ensure that everyone who can be charged will be charged and held accountable.

Hill is on a $10,000 bond for the evidence tampering charge but is ineligible for bail on the murder charges. No attorneys have been identified for the suspects.

Previously, two other individuals were charged for their involvement in the shooting. Last September, Davonte Barnes was convicted on three counts of second-degree murder and 20 counts of attempted second-degree murder. He was handed a life sentence. In 2021, authorities arrested another man, Warneric Buckner, but charges against him were later dropped as the detectives' questioning methods were deemed inappropriate, and Buckner used his right to legal counsel.
