Four new Banksy artworks popped up in and around London in four days
Witnesses reportedly saw several men dismantle and remove the satellite dish. The police announced that around 2:00 PM local time, a theft of a "satellite dish containing a work of art" was reported. No one has been arrested yet. Around midday, Banksy claimed authorship of the piece by publishing images of it on the online service Instagram.
Previously, Banksy had revealed a new artwork each day for three days, with all works featuring animals: On Monday, a crouching goat appeared on a wall in Richmond west of London, on Tuesday, two elephants appeared on a facade in the London district of Chelsea. On Wednesday, three seemingly hanging monkeys appeared on a railway bridge in the East London district of Shoreditch, which Banksy had apparently sprayed there.
That so many new Banksy works have appeared in such a short time is unusual for the artist. Normally, he lets several weeks pass between his artworks. Banksy's artworks always cause a stir. His works have been sold for millions. The identity of the artist has been speculated about for years, and he keeps a low profile in public.

The number of days since Banksy revealed his previous artwork was three before the satellite dish incident. The reported theft occurred on a day when no new artwork was expected from Banksy, breaking his usual pattern of at least several weeks between creations.
