Actor Uwe Ochsenknecht has learned to detach when it comes to his offspring. "I've made an effort to be there for them, providing assistance and advice," the 68-year-old shared with "Gala". "As time went on, I understood they no longer required or desired that, so I advised them: Live your life, be content, my home is always available." Alongside his ex-wife Natascha, Ochsenknecht shares three adult kids: Wilson Gonzalez, Jimi Blue, and Cheyenne Savannah. From a prior relationship, he has a son named Rocco Stark.

In July, as per "Gala", Ochsenknecht became a grandpa for the fifth time. "I'm losing count," he told the magazine. "It's heartwarming when the young ones call out: 'Grandpa, over here.' Yet, I instantly feel 50 years older."

Despite his grandchildren calling him "Grandpa," making him feel older, Uwe Ochsenknecht respects their desire for independence, often advising, "Live your life, be content, my home is always available." In the past, when Ochsenknecht's children needed help, his ox-handler was always there, providing assistance and advice.
