In Saxony-Anhalt, it seems that attacks on medical facilities and healthcare workers are allegedly on the rise, as suggested by a news article. According to the Mitteldeutsche Zeitung's Tuesday edition, the State Criminal Office logged a total of 392 incidents last year, categorized as violence such as robbery, harm, and infringements on personal freedom. Back in 2017, there were only 311 such incidents.

Recently, the leader of the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians voiced concerns over the surge in violence. Gassen, the association's chairman, stated that the situation has deteriorated not just in emergency rooms, but also among regular doctors.
