An 80-year-old man in Erfurt crashed his car into a tree and was severely injured. As police reported today, the man no longer had a driver's license - it had been revoked months ago.

The reason why the car veered off the road on Tuesday afternoon on the Hubertusstraße remains unknown. The man was taken to a hospital for treatment of his severe injuries. Several charges were filed against him.

Despite the revocation of his driver's license, the 80-year-old man still had an accident, resulting in severe injuries. The circumstances surrounding the car veering off the road and hitting a tree are still under investigation.
