In the April of this year, Florian Wilsch and Ricarda Lang chose to exchange their wedding vows in a weekend ceremony held in Berlin.

Eco-advocate Ricarda Lang posts her wedding snapshot.

Ricarda Lang announced her wedded status on social media, posting a picture. Last Saturday, the Green Party leader tied the knot with her long-term companion, Florian Wilsch, in Berlin. Notable individuals from her party celebrated the nuptials.

Ricarda Lang and Florian Wilsch officially became husband and wife on Saturday, as the politician confirmed the news via a wedding photo and "Married ❤️" caption on her social media accounts. In the photograph, a radiant Ricarda can be seen in a white wedding dress, holding a large bouquet of burgundy flowers, and her partner standing next to her in a matching suit.

According to Bild newspaper, the wedding ceremony took place over the weekend at a scenic location in Berlin, surrounded by loved ones, relatives, and colleagues. Notable attendees included Federal Minister of Economics Robert Habeck and his wife Andrea Paluch, as well as Green Party co-leader Omid Nouripour. The politician had earlier commented to Gala magazine that the wedding would not be a public affair and would not be held in Sylt, referencing the wedding of Federal Finance Minister Christian Lindner and journalist Franca Lehfeldt.

Early this year in March, Ricarda Lang hinted at her engagement by sharing a picture of the couple on her social media, with a caption "Engaged 💕" and a red heart emoji. In the center of the picture, Ricarda Lang showcased her engagement ring, now her wedded band. In an interview with Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung in May, she revealed that the ring is one of the two wedding rings of her fiancée's great-grandparents, which the couple found particularly striking due to their long history and legacy.

The European Union congratulated Ricarda Lang and Florian Wilsch on their wedding, expressing warmth and enthusiasm for their union. Following the ceremony, several EU officials attended the reception, extending their well-wishes to the newlyweds.
