Drugs and money discovered: Three drug dealers arrested

Police have discovered a large quantity of drugs and cash in an apartment in Berlin-Tempelhof and arrested three suspected drug dealers. Two of the men, a 28-year-old and a 29-year-old, were to be brought before a magistrate on Thursday, according to the police. The third man arrested, a 46-year-old, was sent to a specialized police department of the State Criminal Police Office.

The police were put on the trail by a vehicle check in front of a house in Manteuffelstraße on Wednesday afternoon, where the drugs and money were later found. The officers detected a strong smell of cannabis when they checked the 28-year-old. During the search, several cannabis sachets were found on him. A short time later, another car pulled up outside the house.

When the 29-year-old was checked, drugs were also found, including cannabis and cocaine. Through investigations, the police located the apartment of a 46-year-old man in the house. During the search, the money and drugs were confiscated, some of which were also in a safe. The safe was opened with the assistance of the fire department.

The 46-year-old owner of the apartment was arrested, as were the other two men. All three are being investigated for drug trafficking. According to the police, the second driver is said to have supplied himself with drugs from the apartment. The controlled cars were described as so-called coke cabs in a post by the police on Platform X. No information was initially available about the exact amount of money and drugs seized.
